The hospitality industry in today’s time is a booming industry. There are a lot of ways in which this industry is vital for the GDP of a country too. This industry attracts tourism and such other things which bring employment and prosperity to the owner and hence the society. It is also considered a noble profession and is joined in by many youngsters and bright minds.
With the increase in tourism in peek seasons like when the weather is favorable in Asian countries or when it’s cold in European countries, there is a sudden outburst of tourists and the requirement for hospitality increases multi fold. Due to this outburst in the number of people coming into a hotel and in need of services and assistance a lot of chaos can occur. There are times when due to large number of pre-bookings good amount of customers have to leave smug face through the doors because the hotels are full beyond capacity and there is no way to find out whether or not the time of stay of a particular occupant is past or not. This mainly happens due to the lack in proper organization of the data and information of each client.
