In today's world of constant media consumption, reaching consumers with quality, impactful advertising is more important than ever. At the center of that consumption is Kipzer Spotlight and Freewheel – the advertising arm of Kipzer that provides premium video advertising to clients of all shapes and sizes. As a member of the brand creative team, the graphic designer is responsible for thinking creatively to produce innovative and high-quality graphic designs for various deliverables including presentations, quarterly reports, social media graphics, event collateral and more. PowerPoint will be the main design tool used, so the ideal candidate must have excellent PowerPoint design skills including animation, GIF's, graphs, charts, etc.
Produce visual solutions using a mix of creative skills, based off the needs communicated by the client and marketing team.
Develop graphics and illustrations that can be implemented across the footprint (print, digital and video) and demonstrate advanced proficiency in relevant professional concepts and related processes.
Transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams; making complex ideas more accessible.
By working within brand guidelines, create images that identify a product or convey a message, while keeping the design creative and fresh
Keep up-to-date on graphic design trends and bring new ideas to the team.
Own the overall look and design of Freewheel media.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Ensures efficient work flow process and can work with a team. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in design disciplines, especially PowerPoint.
Must be efficient at managing deadlines and be able to multi-task daily.
Advanced understanding of PowerPoint including layout, charts, graphs and animations.
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Must provide design portfolio or work samples that include presentations and publication designs, i.e. magazines, videos, annual reports, etc.
Successful candidate must be deadline-oriented and maintain high quality standards while thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts
Bachelors' Degree or Equivalent in Arts or Humanities
Generally requires 3-7 years related experience
Must provide design portfolio or work samples that include presentations and publication design i.e. magazine, annual report.
