In the current situation of increased urbanization and rampant globalisation, the kids yet are a confused lot. There’s lots of stress on accomplishment and performance from the academics and parents. Children are pushed to try and do rather more than customary to urge the required acceptance and acknowledgement from the family and society circle. As up to date educationists rightly place it, the main focus of the present education system is on what the kid doesn’t apprehend instead of on what the kid is aware of. With the breakdown of joint families, children are unable to search out an anchor, and feel sure and adored. Additional typically than not, within the absence of such a figure whom they'll determine with and discuss their hurts and disappointments, additional and additional kids are tending to externalize their frustrations through aggression and violence, (Kapur, 2012). Typically once the pressure of subscribing to high expectations gets overwhelming, they fall back and are tagged by the college and society as a baby with attention deficit ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Whichever manner the story goes, the end product of our schooling system are children who have moderate to low self-esteem and self-concept, moderate to low tolerance for frustration, and are poor downside solvers and poor call manufacturers.

So what's wrong with the education system of our country? In an article for CNN Opinion, John D. Sutter quotes Sir Ken Robinson, British author and international adviser on education, as saying that the academic system works sort of a factory. according to Robinson, a typical college has in it all the qualities of a factory- there's a bell, there are separate subjects, and separate facilities, children are educated by batches and by people. Education system is predicated on the model of production and conformity and views the child as the product of the system. It couldn't are otherwise, Sir Robinson adds, because the whole plan was developed and formed within the economic circumstance of the industrial revolution and was driven by the economic imperative of the time.

Applying this factory model within the perspective of the Indian education system, we can say that we too have remarkably adopted this factory-like system altogether its oppressive rigidity to our faculties. We’ve been blatantly influenced by the mechanistic, official organizational theories developed at the time of the commercial revolution and have adopted a hierarchical top down management approach to organizing the education system. Within the method, the kid is being viewed as simply a product of the system. The stress that ought to be arranged on the non-public growth and development of the kid has been unmarked. Religion in human capability outlined in terms of ability to assess a haul scenario and notice solutions, capability for oblique and thinking, effective social skills, ability to speak effectively, has been undervalued. In an article in India educational Review, March 2012, the Vice- President Hamid Ansari quotes the Yashpal Committee report which states that ‘we have followed policies of fragmenting our educational enterprises into cubicles’ and that ‘most instrumentalist of our education harm the potential of human mind for constructing and making new knowledge’.

"Well, keeping these aside, let's focus on how good and where do teachers should get trained, and how they must find a good college which should be under reputed, recognized university?!"

In India, to become a teacher one should be having B.Ed. certification from UGC (University Grant Commission) recognized university. The colleges which conducts B.Ed. program must be having approval to train students from NCTE (National Council for Teaching Education).
